Kompass Quartet

Formed in 2023, the Kompass Quartet comprises of Matthew Ryan on the viola, Jessica Gehring and Jade Schoolcraft on violin, and Victoria Lin on cello.

In July and August 2023, the Kompass Quartet completed a residency with the Craftsbury Chamber Players, engaging in two performances of their Summer 2023 season in Burlington and Hardwick, Vermont, as well as numerous community outreach concerts in northern Vermont. During this time, the quartet collaborated with the Bread and Puppet Theatre on “Deaf Beethoven,” a weekly performance of Beethoven’s Grosse Fuge (Op 133), with 7 stretches added by Charlie Morrow.

The Kompass Quartet continues to engage in their own series of performances, and is available for performances and collaboration. Inquire below to get in touch directly with the Kompass Quartet.
